The Grand/Great Cinema Music at Ca' Vittoria
A musical narrative featuring some of the greatest composers of film music. We will listen to pieces by Ennio Morricone, including the renowned soundtrack from Once Upon a Time in the West (1964); by Nino Rota, the composer of the music for Amarcord (1973) and La Dolce Vita (1960); by Max Steiner, including Tara's Theme, from Gone with the Wind (1939); by Henry Mancini, the composer of Moon River, one of the most beloved songs in the history of cinema and the soundtrack of Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961); and others.
