Ca’ Vittoria Green
Ca' Vittoria in the heart of the UNESCO Heritage area
Respect for the land
Ca’ Vittoria adopts environmentally friendly farming practices and is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its activities. In these lands, where the encounter between man and nature produces excellent products such as the Prosecco Superiore DOCG, respect for the land and the ecosystem is written into the code of ethics of our winegrowers. It is our legacy.
Sustainability of wine means producing responsibly with a focus on the conservation of natural resources and the reduction of environmental impact. This will have decisive consequences on the world we leave to the next generations and their hopes for the future. This is why Ca’ Vittoria is involved in activities related to production and raising awareness of green issues, as we are grateful for what this land has given us and want to give back to it as much as we can.
Prosecco Superiore DOCG:
Wine that does good
including for the environment
Respect for people
Sustainability is not only synonymous with greater care for the environment, but is also important for social issues. It aims to ensure that the area in which we live is healthy and that everyone has access to the same resources and opportunities, promoting equality, participation, health, education and the creation of more resilient communities with a peaceful future.
In tradition lies the secret of sustainability!
Over the centuries, viticulture has faced numerous challenges that have been overcome through scientific research, ensuring the continuity of wine development. Today, the production of our Prosecco Superiore DOCG is characterised by sustainability and represents the balance between the requirements of the present and those of the future. A glance at the past, at the traditions handed down, at the recipes of life and cultivation of yesteryear, seem to dictate very current rules and principles on the concepts of sustainability and respect for the environment.
Ca' Vittoria and the Eno Bees in the Vineyard Project
Ca’ Vittoria has enthusiastically joined the Eno Bees in the Vineyard Project, a research initiative that aims to reintroduce bees into the vineyard to promote biodiversity and sustainability. It is an example of how a perfect symbiosis can be created between beekeeping and viticulture, respecting the environment and taking advantage of sustainable winemaking. The presence of bees in vineyards often represents an extraordinary resource, as they play a fundamental role in the reproduction of vine flowers and preserve the biodiversity of vineyards.
The project involves various wineries in Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto, including our own, Ca’ Vittoria on the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene.
